This was my first home purchase, so I had lots of questions! She explained things clearly and never made me feel uneasy about asking questions that were obvious to people who had brought a property before. Jacqueline was so patient and kind. If she didn't know something, she'd go away and find it out, then get back to me quickly. Nothing was a bother. I met her first when I went to an open home for a different property, which I wasn't so keen on, and she offered to keep an eye out for me. I saw the property that I ended up purchasing online, but it was so great having her walk through the process with me and help liaise with the other agent. It made me feel more confident knowing I had someone helping on my behalf and not just relying on the vendor's agent. Jacqueline was so lovely, always open and honest and I have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone looking for a new home.
We met Jacqueline at one of many of the open homes we attended, most agents asked what we were looking for and either said it was impossible or they would get back to us. Jacqueline was the first person to really take note of what we needed in our 1st home, she starting sending links to us of potential properties to view the same day (without any pressure), but really going above and beyond. Most of the ones she send had real potential for us. When we settled on the house we wanted to put an offer in she was responsive, gave feedback, always answered our calls or emails promptly and never made us feel that our small budget was not worth her time. We had attended a couple of Open Homes listed by EVES Property and our names as usual were taken for future follow up. Sometime in late August 2021, Sue took a phone call from a lady called Jacqueline; she had a house that she wanted us to view. Arrangements were made and we visited the house to meet Jacqueline for the first time. Jacqueline is a very personable lady, who listens closely to what is said regarding the clients likes and dislikes. Typically for us, a sink in the middle of the room is a no-no, needs to be at a window. That house was not suitable, we however, liked Jacqueline very much and very soon a relationship developed, where we felt that we were her only clients. We had private viewings of houses thereafter, no matter which estate agent was showing. We had some disappointments where we could not purchase due to OIO requirements and other reasons, but Jacqueline never faltered and was not deterred, searching for a property that would tick all our boxes, which were fairly extensive. We certainly have not come across another agent that was so determined to satisfy our housing needs, listening at each viewing as to what we liked or disliked. Nothing was too much trouble for her, when we were in lockdown in Waikato, she took videos, visited the house we were interested in with our son and showed him around We eventually settled on the house as addressed above, and attended the auction. Having been searching for a house for about 7 months we were relieved to tears when Sue won the Auction.
