We were the buyers of a property for which Jackie was the vendor’s agent. Unfortunately our end to end experience was very unpleasant. On two occasions we nearly walked away as buyers of the property and our whole experience with this agent made us lose the excitement for what should have been a great occasion buying our new home. We felt that our offers were not transparently put to the vendor, felt talked down to and at times felt the experience bordered on unethical. To top it off, the home was presented to us without a proper clean and with over 20 pieces of dog poo very visibly down the side of the property. Throughout the inspection we were outright ignored and she had forgotten one of our names. Our experience was also validated by our legal team who found her difficult and unpleasant to work with. Jackie also seemed to have no interest in the Bayleys brand that she was representing. I would not recommend her to any vendor if you want your buyers to stick around!

Jackie took the time to explain our different options, gave us good advice in preparing our house to sell and her approach meant we sold quickly, for the price we were after. Then Jackie helped us with advice on buying at auction, something we hadn’t done before, which was so appreciated. Jackie went over and above with sound knowledge and advice. I know without her support we wouldn’t have ended up with our new beautiful house for our family. I really valued Jackie’s expertise and felt that I could trust her advice. For anyone looking for an experienced agent that knows the market, I would 100% recommend Jackie Derrick.

Despite the distance, we felt at ease knowing she was managing things carefully on our behalf. The whole process felt organised and well handled, which reduced a lot of stress during an already busy time. We appreciate the way she managed everything and made the experience straightforward for us.
