We had the house valued by a number of agents over the last couple of years, we love our house, but have known for a while that it is a little large for us and no longer met our needs. It was a difficult decision to sell, but when we finally made the decision, we specifically sought out Ian. Over the past couple of years we noted that Ian has always been fair and professional regarding colleagues in the housing market - something we respected. He was knowledgeable, approachable, friendly and always made time for questions even before we put the house on the market, again something we acknowledged and respected. We didn’t get the heavy sell with barfoots, whilst this was nice, I do wonder whether a little more avid follow up (phone call as well as email after a valuation, and potentially another quick call a few months later may get them a few more listings as all the others did this.) We were pleasantly surprised at the package deal, - the lower cost of the advertising package and the free walk round from the house consultant were some of the features that would have easily sung the decision had we been on the fence, but we were not aware of until we just about signed on the dotted line. With regards to the agent - amazing. Ian went over and above to make the process more comfortable, easier, less stressful and streamlined. Always at the end of the phone, always friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We have already strongly recommended him to friends who are starting to consider moving. Thank you for everything!
