Being a first home buyer, we had no idea about the process whatsoever when I and my wife first started looking at homes, or what to expect throughout the process. We were just randomly viewing a few properties when we first met with Gloria Jones, and from there, the story started…! After that meeting, Gloria has been in contact continuously by providing opportunities to view properties as per our requirements, preferences, and affordability. In addition, she always provided expert advice to short-list a particular house or not, and why. The amount of effort and time Gloria put into walking us through the process of buying a home in New Zealand is unbelievable. From the first day that we met, she spent her entire day and night even over the weekend and late nights, walking us through the “big picture.” From there on out, she was always available to provide us with the information that we needed (or didn’t need but needed for the sake of our sanity) – every decision that we made, small or big, mattered to her. Obviously, making an informed decision is the most important part of buying a home. But personally, as being “emotionally” invested in buying a home, having someone who properly set, managed, and came through with expectations was such a lifesaver and made us feel so at ease throughout the entire process. On a related note, as a first home buyer, we were not sure what to expect, what was good or bad, etc., and she was always so candid and provided her own perspective of different aspects of each home that she thought would be relevant to our decision making based on what she had learned about us as a family.
