Glenn Collins
Glenn was selling a house we fell in love with but mine hadn’t sold so I said I would sell through him so he was very active then to get the sale, but my original agent still had a week left to sell and managed to do so but the week before the move day I emailed him to ask the seller if we could put some boxes in their garage beforhand and when would be out final walk through. No answer, he just ignored me but he bombarded me to get the deposit into his account. I’m 70 and I felt stressed with the emails and voice messages saying he still didn’t have the money in his account. I told him 5 times I didn’t have the deposit, the solicitor had it but it was like he didn’t believe me but worse service was still to come. On moving date ( after not a peep from him about our final walk through or if we could put some boxes in the garage, our solicitor sorted that out) I rang him to ask about the keys to the house and what time to meet him he said he wasn’t meeting me as he had back to back meetings all day so my son had to drive from Rototuna North to city centre to get the keys while our removal men sat outside our new house for one hour with nothing to do and at $120 per hour and we had to hire them for a bit longer. We were so angry at him. He didn’t recognise my son when he went in Lodge and although he was already talking to a couple he was on the ball when he thought he may have a new customer and asked how he could help. I have bought and sold quite a few times and never been treated like this . So all I can say is Yes he may be the best at selling where money is involved but doesn’t care about anything else. Meanwhile my agent had come round 2 days before with my buyers and again on moving day with them so they could pick up their keys from me and ask any questions. She also brought me a lovely gift and had knocked $1k off her commission to help me. Chalk and cheese agents and so this is why he is number one because all he concentrates on is the sale.
