Working with Gilbert to buy our 1st home was the best experience we had in the property market. Gilbert and I met at a different property where he took down our details and advised that he would call us and let us know if there are any properties on the market which suited our needs and - he DID :):). He asked us to view this property, but we couldn't make it at the time he had the open home done but surprisingly, we met Garry at another open home where he mentioned the same property to us and asked us to view it. The moment we stepped into the property, I made up my mind there and then that this is the property that I want to buy for our family! Since then, Gilbert was constantly in contact with us re the open home times and for us to visit the property and have a proper inspection done airing out any concerns etc. We still weren't sure whether the price was within our budget as we were still getting our loan sorted. Luckily the loan amount which got approved made us believe that we could go in the auction and bid! Gilbert kept checking on us to see whether we were all ready for the auction and if there was anything else we needed. Really happy with his services and Garry's as well. At the auction, Gilbert did the bidding for us which was really nice of him to do as we had never been to an auction before and he really nailed it! The only downfall we had was that we had to go a bit above what we wanted to spend on this property, but this was only possible with all the hard-core negotiations Garry and Gilbert did for us - HATS OFF TO YOU BOTH! Finally, everything worked out well for us and now we are proud owners of a property - a dream come true for us with all the struggles we had in life, finally going to settle down! I just don't have the words to express how grateful we are having the "GG" team behind our back to make our DREAM COME TRUE! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a home to buy. We wanted to sell our house while finding our forever home, but finding the right home was a completely different story! It felt like trying to find a decent parking spot at Sylvia Park on a Saturday. Possible, but it needed patience, luck, and maybe divine intervention! 😂 We searched everywhere, from Manurewa and Clendon Park to Takanini, but the perfect home seemed to be playing expert level hide and seek. Then there was Gilbert! Gilbert was like a caffeine fuelled superhero with a property searching superpower. He was always sending us new listings, arranging private viewings, checking details, following up, and somehow finding opportunities before we even knew about them. Every time we liked a house, my husband would give his usual “Ummm…” 🤣 while Gilbert was already two steps ahead! As settlement got closer, the pressure was building, but Gilbert stayed calm, positive, and determined. He never made us feel like we were running out of options. His speed, attention to detail, patience, humour, and genuine commitment made the whole experience so much easier and even enjoyable! I honestly can’t recommend Gilbert highly enough. If you’re looking to buy or sell, Gilbert is your guy! Five stars? Absolutely! I’d give him five stars, a platinum medal, and a trophy the size of a For Sale sign if I could!
