I walked through the house and then discussed the state of the market, average days to sell, and what I suggested should be done before photos, as well as the type of agreement that was in place with tenants. I communicated well with 49 emails between 19/5 and 25/8 (when a sales contract was done) and 51 emails thereafter. Additionally, four-page progress reports were sent every week. Before listing the property, I told Alwyn that I was heading overseas and gave him the option to list with someone else. He chose to list with me. Apart from a senior member handling the open homes, I worked on this project while overseas and emailed every single week. My appraisal was $950k - $1mil, but Alwyn insisted on pitching it upwards of $1.1mil, hence the delay in selling. Before settlement, I had to organise a cleaner, carpet cleaner, house washer, and gardener to get the property to a state that it could be handed over. I always take reviews to better myself, but in this case, the review is completely unfair.
