The sale of my grandparent’s property was a delicate, slow and challenging process as it was the family home for 45 years and they were very reluctant to move on. In the 45 years they had been at the property minimal maintenance had been done, it had bad wear and tear and the décor was very dated. George recommended and organised a builder’s report so we had no surprises and knew of all issues when the house went to market. The report showed multiple major issues with the property after 45 year of neglect. However, George remained positive about the sale and got proactive to overcome or work around the issues and try for the best result possible. George worked extremely hard and came up with creative ideas and thought outside of the box to attract buyers to the open homes and organise viewings. He kept us well informed and updated of how the open homes were going, how many people came along, where those people thought the property value was and ideas he was using to get buyers to the auction room. During the process of selling the property and while the marketing and open home scheduling had started my grandmother passed away. George was more than happy to pause everything (even though it caused him more work) while family from overseas and out of town used the property for accommodation and remembrance leading up to and after her funeral. George was extremally understanding and said family always come first. When the open homes had finished and the property went to auction we were extremely happy with the result with the property selling at auction and achieving a fantastic price. George worked extremely hard to get a result for us. Having to work with a difficult property in a challenging market. We could not be happier with the outcome. I fully recommend George who will work hard to achieve a great a result for you.
