Gemma did a great job selling our property during a tough time for RE sales. We had some challenges with the viewing of our home but Gemma worked with us and around us to make it happen. The marketing package we put together surely helped and I was particularly impressed with the virtual staging that helped potential purchasers visualise what eahk room could be.
My house was a unique property. It took close to a year to complete from when 1st national was first approached to guide me through the sale process. Gemma set a very realistic asking price from the outset that allowed me to budget and finish the house to high standard for its new owners. During that time I was able to call on Gemma for advise on the standard of finishings and what the new owners would expect and appreciate. That knowledge was invaluable. The actual marketing of the house was very straight forward and transparent. There were no hidden surprises. Gemma recommended that the house be dressed for sale. I believe that doing this made a massive difference. The asking price and sale price were almost identical. Dealing with an agent that set a realistic asking price who was helpful, knowledgeable , highly efficient and did precisely what was needed during a stressful time as a seller was invaluable. Gemma was recommended to me and I was not disappointed. I have rental properties that are rented through first National and are just as professionally looked after. At some point I will be retiring these and will have no hesitation having Gemma sell them or recommending Gemma to anyone wishing to sell their home.

Gemma was very easy to deal with. She helped us narrow down what we were looking for and was always willing to revisit places as we tried to make a decision. The process took a lot longer than expected, because of unexpected issues, and she never lost patience. There were a few occasions when she didn’t reply, but in general she was easy to communicate with. It would have been helpful to have a written checklist for when we did the final inspection because we feel there were a few important things that were missed. In general, we were very happy and would recommend Gemma to others.
