With a Diploma in Land Surveying and seven years’ experience working as a technician in New Zealand and Australia, Douglas built a strong foundation in property, land, and development. He later pursued his passion for wine, completing a concurrent degree in Oenology and Viticulture before working as a winemaker across New Zealand and in France, including for the prestigious Château Léoville Barton - a second growth in Bordeaux. These experiences have instilled in him a meticulous attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and a deep understanding of how people connect with place.
Now based on the outskirts of New Plymouth in beautiful Ōakura, Douglas brings his diverse background into real estate, combining technical knowledge, international perspective, and a heartfelt commitment to helping people achieve their goals.
