Our experience with Doug was fantastic from the outset. He was quick to reply to emails for information, requests to view the property, knowledgeable and was professional, but very approachable in his manner. Doug has a way of putting people at ease with a genuine authenticity, something that can only come from working on and knowing oneself over time. It was a pity that Doug was not the person in charge of the auction for the house that we were after! The gentleman who conducted the auction and consequent negotiations (with the house not reaching reserve) was unnecessarily brash, bordering on condescending at times and came across as fixed in his mindset. If it were not for Doug there, I think we would have walked out after the first 10 minutes. Feedback is a gift - perhaps the auctioneer could have learnt a thing or five from this man...
