I’ve been enthralled with all things real estate ever since I can remember. From dreaming of manipulating floor plans in my playhouse while I was growing up, to what some would call an obsession with home reno and property tv shows. I have a passion for making a house a home. My husband, Steve and I have bought and sold several properties over the years, taking time to renovate, reinvent each one and taking another step on the property ladder as we went. With my passion, I have walked along side others dreaming of home ownership, providing encouragement and advice on how to achieve these goals – I am a keen problem solver who is always thinking outside the box.
Relatively new to the area, Steve and I moved to Turangi in 2017 after initially just looking for a ‘holiday home’ in the area. After a weekend of house hunting, on the drive home, we decided we would sell up everything in Hawkes Bay and move to Turangi! Although the idea seemed wild at the time, the attractiveness of the area won over our hearts. We have spent the better part of 5 years taking our ‘diamond in-the-rough' house and turning it into one of the nicest homes on our street. Our love of the area we now call home was further cemented while I worked at the local information centre gaining local knowledge and serving visitors and locals alike.
When I am not working, I probably have some project on the go. You may find me running or walking the local trails with Poppy (our dog), training with the local Boxfit group or just spending time with family. An entrepreneur at heart, I successfully ran a direct sales business for over 11 years and earned top awards year after year while my children were young. I support my husband Steve in his bespoke transport business that we created together, and I also encourage him in his role as a volunteer firefighter for the local brigade. With a background in hospitality and a love of travel, we also enjoy hosting visitors from around the world in our home.
In recent years my interest in real estate expanded when I took a role as an office manager in a busy Turangi real estate office. I was immediately drawn to the process of buying and selling homes from an administrative perspective with tasks like scriptwriting, photography and marketing further boosting my enthusiasm and energizing my drive to pursue real estate sales as a career. I am enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the real estate process and I have a passion for helping people.
