Despite the current sluggish market with fewer prospective buyers, he reached a sale within four months, securing terms that were agreeable to both parties—an achievement that speaks volumes about his expertise. Don was very helpful in getting me an insurance broker which would have been my stumbling block had he not organised that so quickly. Very grateful for that. I also had time constraints and needed to get back to work (overseas), after 2 weeks in Christchurch - he very quickly arranged tradesmen who were very effective and reasonably priced too, for the minor repairs that was necessary. I thought with the time constraints, it would be possible to get the repairs done, but would be expensive, but was happily surprised that the price was reasonable. He was working many late hours even after I had left Christchurch. He has amazing persuasion and negotiation skills to have encouraged so much genuine interest in the property. I also received timely and frequent updates. Below I am also asked if I went through RateMy Agent to pick Don. Need to express that I did not use RateMy Agent to select Don as he was very highly recommended by someone I know, so I picked him. Glad I did. Also I am asked if the final price was my expectation. Need to express that I answered "below my expectation price" as that is the honest truth. However, need to express that the "below my expectation price" was not due to Don. I know Don had done his ultimate already. I am very happy with all that he has done. The "below my expectation price" was due to the current market conditions. I would highly recommend Don Yee to anyone who is selling their property.
