Even though real estate agents in NZ act on behalf of the vendors and we were on the buying side of this transaction, we felt that Dianne acted very professionally and fairly towards us. She was always pleasant to deal with and very prompt in responding to our communications and requests for more information. She even arranged a meeting between us and the vendors so that we could address our concerns to the vendors and receive their responses directly, which we found extremely helpful in reaching a decision on whether or not to proceed to make an offer. Dianne did not put any pressure on us to buy or act in any particular way, leaving us to proceed and make up our minds at our own pace, which we also appreciated. For the avoidance of doubt, we had no prior connection with Dianne and met her for the first time in connection with this transaction.
