Overall, the selling experience was excellent with Dhaval. He took the time to understand our requirements throughout the process and provided valuable guidance, especially when it came to the presentation of our home. His professionalism and support made a real difference. Harcourts demonstrated strong market knowledge and clear communication. The online marketing campaign was well-executed, but it only resulted in two active bidders in the room. This could have been improved with better timing, particularly avoiding overlap with similar nearby property listings. While we achieved a good sale price, we believe there was potential for a stronger result with a more strategically timed campaign. We also shared early on that we were looking to buy a niche property, which comes with specific challenges. In light of this, we believe Harcourts could explore more flexible options for buyers—such as allowing those with verified financial credibility to attend auctions without needing to sell their current home first. Being required to sell upfront can limit flexibility and put pressure on achieving optimal settlement terms when transitioning to a new property.
