Deb was uncontactable the morning of settlement (told me later she does not take her phone to appraisals). Difficulty getting keys after settlement - turned out the sellers had not completed moving out and were not at property (which was locked) when I went around. Deb said this happens quite often! I had arranged people to help me move who took time off work and were inconvenienced. As I am elderly and unwell a simple phone call to me or her office - who also could not contact her or find the keys - to let us know what was going on would have avoided a lot of stress and upset. I understand Deb works for the seller and I am sure she was very good but I feel the buyer should not be completely discarded as soon as we pay. As no apology was offered I assume this must be normal real estate practice.

Really helpful agent who went the extra mile to sort the purchase for us.

We had originally put in an offer on a listing of Carole’s over 3 months prior. We were unsuccessful, but from that Carole worked alongside us to understand what we were looking for. She did this all while we were out of town or out of the country. Another unsuccessful offer on the table, motivation was low. She then offered to show us 2 properties we may not have considered. She helped us see the vision and make a successful offer in 24 hours. If it hadn’t been for her patience, dedication and professionalism we would’ve still been spending weekends looking at open homes. We dealt with other agents from other agencies but none of them really stuck with us like Carole. And for that we are entirely grateful.
