We were first made aware of Darren Szaszy through our son who is a stormwater consultant and helped us with a stormwater easement issue on our neighbouring property which Darren was marketing and eventually sold. Our son found him so obliging and helpful that he suggested if we ever decided to sell, we should approach Darren for an appraisal. Darren was very aware that we found the process of selling our home daunting (we had lived in the property for 21 years), especially as we had made the decision to sell at auction. There was no pressure from Darren to sell at auction or otherwise. He didn't quote unrealistic sales figures and kept us informed regarding sales figures in our area.
