We chose to engage Simon and Cooper because not only had they been recommended to us, but they instilled confidence at our first meeting, with their strategising about how to get the best outcome for a property that needed to be sold under some very specific requirements. I was impressed how they sprung into action and organised photography, the marketing etc within record time when we had a deadline to get the house on the market just a week before everything shut down for the Christmas/summer holidays. They generated a good deal of interest in the property. Remained calm and confident even when curved balls arose, such as CCC for re-piling work only being approved by the Council a couple of days before the auction. Whilst I at times questioned their approach, they ended up delivering the success that they always assured me they were working towards. I am very happy with the result, with the house selling at Auction to a purchaser that they had generated, for a price that I was very happy with.

I have dealt with many agents over the years and what was completely different about the Spillers is their 100% commitment to working for their sellers and negotiating the best price. In the past I have bought properties I would have paid more for due to the agents lack of ability to negotiate, experience and simply wanting to get a deal done. Completely opposite with these guys I actually paid more than I wanted to so when it came to choosing an agent to sell my property it was a no brainer. Being on the other side of the deal as a seller my initial views were confirmed as their service is first class and they again negotiated hard to achieve a great result. There is no one more knowledgeable or with more contacts to the Muriwai property market than the Spillers. They took the time to understand our personal position and our property before recommending how to sell. From the start we were told they would achieve the best price and even when we produced a Registered Valuation we were told to bury it and see if they could do better. Best advice ever as we did by approximately 10% which is a big difference.
