Professional, Patient, Pleasantly Persistent and Plain Speaking

A friend, who is agent, recommended me to Christine and I quote: “Christine specialises in quirky, old properties out in the wop wops!” Never a truer word spoken! Armed with her trusty gumboots and a seemingly persistent smile, Christine embarked on a relentless journey to sell my beloved, but somewhat ramshackle “Calamity Farm”, a wee lifestyle block - somewhere west of Waipu. Nothing really phased her as she guided a steady stream of potential buyers through the muddy paddocks and across often deep and fast flowing ditches. Fearless, as she led them past the curious Highland cattle, huge horns poised as they watched these paddock invaders trudge through their domain. The sun did eventually shine, the mud shrivelled and the blossom came out in abundance once again on the ancient fruit trees and some buyers seem to love Calamity Farm as much as I did and we can now put a SOLD sign on the paddock gate. A true professional and dare I say it - wonderfully old school. Christine kept me up to date at all times and stuck in there, often when I was ready to throw the towel in! Also, observed her patience and empathy with the various buyers. Should probably note her patience with me! I would not hesitate to recommend Christine if you are considering selling your property, with or without gumboots, she is simply the best! Nikki Wylder January 2026
