As a first home buyer, my partner and I were overwhelmed by what has happened to the property market over the last 12 months. There were times where we felt stressed, discouraged, and exhausted. Despite having a 20% deposit and the bank's support, we came to a point where we thought that we would never be able to purchase a home. We missed out on several homes.
