We were initially searching for a house in a different area. Every week, we visited open homes and looked through nearly 50 properties, but none of them truly felt like “the one.” Then, one day, we decided to check out a lifestyle property a little further out of town. That was when we first met Carolyn. Her way of talking about the benefits of living in the countryside came from her own experience, and her words really resonated with us—especially because we ourselves had lived in the countryside back in Japan. Unlike other agents, we felt that Carolyn was speaking from her heart, and we immediately trusted her. A few weeks later, we happened to see another property—and there we met Carolyn again. That property turned out to be the house we live in today. From the moment we walked in, my wife and all of our children fell in love with the place. That had never happened before, and it just so happened that Carolyn was the agent in charge of the property. On the way home from that open home, we were all talking excitedly in the car about how wonderful the house was. The only issue was that the price was beyond the budget we had originally set. We told ourselves, “It’s a wonderful house, but it’s just not possible,” and we tried to let it go. But strangely, we couldn’t stop thinking about it. It felt like we had already fallen in love with the house. Even though it was beyond our budget, we started seriously thinking about our future life plans, our finances, and we had many discussions as a couple. Eventually, we decided to give it a try and move forward toward purchasing it. In the end, we were very fortunate to be able to make it ours. Throughout the process, Carolyn exchanged many emails with us, and we always felt she responded with sincerity and care. Now, Carolyn and we are neighbors in the same community. I’d love to catch up with her again soon. We are very grateful for this opportunity to write a review, and we hope it will be helpful to someone else.
