I was raised on a dairy farm, the 2nd youngest of 7 siblings. I remember growing up in a beautiful 1881 homestead house with large lawns and a concrete tennis court. This character home became our family hub, with a lot of memories been made there . I enjoy being part of a large family having 20 nieces and nephews and now, with Karen we have 5 grandchildren. Our bond with them all, is fantastic!! and we love watching them grow into their own personalities.
I’ve been selling rural real estate successfully since September 2004, learning all the time, and gaining experiences. This move to First National is a great move for me, whereby I’m still selling real estate, but also coaching new and inexperience agents. Teaching them to employ good systems, and processes that they can implement into their own real estate journeys. I’ve been fortunate to have dealt with so many great people over the years as vendors and purchasers, but also trainers and advisers. The values I’ve learnt growing up, still apply today, work hard, be true to yourself, and respect others.
I’m well known in a wide area simply as ‘BC’, which is quite cool!! Outside of work, I enjoy time with Karen, either out with friends, holidays, or family time with the kids, playing golf and having a beer with my mates, and supporting family in their careers, I am a passionate Taranakian!! I do support where I can, especially the rural support trust.
