With more than 20 years’ experience in real estate, I bring a strong combination of marketing expertise, business experience, local knowledge and a genuine commitment to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients. I work across all aspects of the property market, from residential and lifestyle properties through to rural real estate.
My career has given me a diverse and valuable perspective. Before entering real estate, I worked in the corporate world in London, specialising in international shipping insurance. This followed an earlier role as Personal Assistant to the Mayor of Wanganui, Chas Poynter. In 1989, I left New Zealand to travel and work internationally, eventually settling in London, where I met my husband. We returned to New Zealand in 1995.
In 2003, I joined Harcourts in Kumeu as a Sales and Marketing Consultant, beginning what has became a truly rewarding career in real estate. I thrive on the person-to-person nature of the business and particularly enjoy building strong relationships with clients, understanding what matters to them and guiding them confidently through the sales process.
My strong marketing, organisational and negotiating skills, combined with extensive local knowledge and a commitment to professional standards, have helped me achieve consistent sales results and build a strong reputation for honesty, perseverance and professionalism.
My background has also shaped the way I approach real estate. I grew up on a 2,400-acre hill-country sheep farm in Wanganui, where hard work, resilience and getting the job done were simply part of everyday life. Alongside this rural upbringing, my corporate experience and international travel have given me a broad perspective, adaptability and an appreciation for working with people from all walks of life.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and have completed the National Branch Managers Qualification.
Today, I live in Kumeu with my family and our two miniature dachshunds, Pickle and Ivy, and remain passionate about the community, the people and the diverse range of properties that make this such a special part of New Zealand.
