When a gracious demeanour beats sales tactics by far

We contacted Amber to view a property she was selling at very short notice during Waitangi weekend and she graciously obliged. A few days later, we told her that we were going to put an offer on another property but thanked her for generously giving her time. Her graciousness extended again and she welcomed our custom back if things didn’t work out with that property. A week or so later, we withdrew our interest in that property and found ourselves stuck on what to do next. Amber's graciousness kept coming to us and we took a humble punt at contacting her for the property we viewed - and again, that same warmth welcomed us back. Within weeks, we went unconditional on that property thanks to the absolute care and attentiveness Amber provided. We felt she was there to help us buy our forever whānau home and never felt like she was trying to 'sell' it to us. She gave us her time generously and always provided information at the instant we asked for it. Amber accommodated our hectic work schedules and at one point, pivoted her assistance to meet travel plans affected by severe weather events and a busy work programme; she made it work!
