A challenging journey, but we got there together.

We worked with Althea to sell our home in what was a very challenging market. It wasn’t a straightforward campaign — we went through auction, a longer-than-expected post-auction period, negotiations and eventually some minor complicated negotiations before settlement. Althea was warm, approachable and hardworking throughout. She was always lovely to deal with, clearly cared about us and getting a result for us, and stayed with us through what became a long and sometimes stressful process. There were times when we would have appreciated more proactive communication and stronger guidance around strategy and what to expect next. That said, we also recognise that many of the challenges were outside her control and came with selling in a difficult market. Althea is still building her experience, and we believe she has loads of potential. She has the warmth, energy and people skills that you can’t easily teach, and with more experience and confidence in guiding vendors through difficult campaigns, we think she’ll become a really strong agent.
