We selected Anthony Carppe for two reasons: 1. Good recommendations from others who had used his services. 2. His reputation for being able to sell properties. We had owned our property for 28 years and two previous attempts with other agents to sell had proven unsuccessful. Our first meeting with Anthony assured us that his approach to selling was consistent with what we also thought best: aggressive pricing. declared price (no auction, tender etc) and a two person approach (with Jane). We appreciated the advice on home preparation for sale (Kelly and Jane) and thought the photographer achieved the best look for the property. The open homes were well run and follow up with us was efficient after Anthony's team had done their follow up with prospective buyers. The first offer was presented in a timely fashion and contact with the prospective buyers kept everyone in the loop although it did become a little difficult as to who was taking the lead (agents or lawyers) during the follow ups with the buyer. But it was all successfully resolved. The second offer was well presented and they became the buyer. Negotiations re visits to the property by the buyers, communication re assets and chattels and final transfer of the property were all worked through successfully. We would happily work with Anthony and Jane again and would definitely recommend them to others who are buying or selling property. Their work was professional and personable, offers were negotiated in good faith and contact and feedback was good throughout the sale period. Their suggested sale process and method was what we had expected and proved to be effective and we are pleased with the result.
