I met Kate at an open home she was running and I was impressed. My partner and I had two homes to sell (in a hurry) so we could buy our first home together and when I looked into her company profile, her sales figures and saw her rates I knew she’d be our agent. She’s professional, engaging, hugely motivated and genuinely wanted to do her best for us. My house was under offer after 3 days on the market and went unconditional 10 days later. I had tried to sell with another company and agent 5 months prior and had been listed for 6 weeks with no offers so I was over the moon. Kate’s communication is brilliant, she kept me up to date on everything, the photos and videos looked brilliant and it paid off. She have all the informations that I need to know about property. I had an appointment with Kate 10am on the 19/12/2023 to view the property and she told me that she will present all the offers to the owner of the house in the afternoon. My offer was accepted late in the afternoon, same day . In 14 working days,I got the house key.
Words cannot say how grateful I am to have had Kate Lamont leading the way through selling my parents estate, which was also my childhood home. As we had trusted her with our own property 1 year ago, I didn't hesitate to call her up and ask her to market my parents' home. I had 100% trust in Kate from day 1, she is very open and honest and doesn't sugar coat anything, you know exactly where it's at and what she's thinking! (mostly) which made everything easy, Kate is always available for a chat and give advice and if not, she will call you back straight away. When it came to putting the house on the market, she ha a strong knowledge of the market and she strongly recommended we Auction it, which to be honest I wasn't too keen, I also had never sold a house at an Auction and hadn't heard a lot of positive feedback about them. But it was the best thing we did, not only did we get above and beyond what we were expecting, it was held on site, which I felt was very special and personal. (esp. in our circumstances) There would have been 30 people there 10 registered to bid and in the end 3 bidders fought it out. My family and I are very happy with the outcome and are all ready to move on. I totally recommend Kate Lamont, she is a true professional, down to earth and Absolutely Fabulous!
