I am a young investor and have been through the buying process a number of times now. From the open home and through the process with this agent, i sadly felt like i was undermined as being a serious buyer, and the level of my knowledge within the industry. I am a graduate Property Valuer in Tauranga and have worked within property for quite some time. Sadly, this is the 2nd time i have felt to be treated in an undermining way by an agent in Rotorua whilst purchasing. Hopefully things will improve once agents realize that Millennials can also be investors =)

Fast, Professional and did say Fast? I have been following the property market since 2015, we invested in a couple of properties in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, I constantly checked on Trademe and other platforms over this time, "keeping an eye on things". I noticed one agent in particular from McDowell Real estate, consistently had listings etc on these platforms, and when I asked around my local communities, people had nice things to say, she had a good reputation. Fast forward to today 2021, we decided to check the market, I emailed her directly and explained my situation, hows this for responsiveness, within 7 days, I was signed up, had 6 offers on paper, all well over 110% of my original investment. Oh, It gets much better, 5 days after that I had a written signed contract for settlement within 33 days. I choose Fiona as my agent as I've had past dealings with her when I brought this place. I found Fiona to be lovely to deal with and she made the process seamless and without stress. Now with selling I had the benefit of having two agents Fiona and Mark to support and guide me through the process and they have made the selling process much the same. They both have gone above and beyond to support me selling my home and getting a good price. COVID also played a role in delaying proceedings even further. Fiona was steady with her efforts and communication throughout. It was never a problem to have a chat about how things were going.
