Patrick Stegeman is an honest Real Estate Agent. Pleasant to work with and ready to listen to our expectations. He always kept us fully informed on pricing and buyer feed back. However, the times were challenging with an all time low market after Covid, Reserve Bank regulations and high mortgage rates. Not exactly a sellers market and definitely not a buyers market. Patrick sold our property and also signed up, a back up offer. Not really the price we would have liked, but a price that the market afforded at the time. With Patrick's advice we went to auction, then priced the property and eventually to "offers over". We had open homes, sometimes two a weekend and private viewings during week, if buyers requested. All in all an outstanding team effort, from Patrick and his son Jerandy marketing the property, his daughter Danisha, with her staging from The Staging Company and his wife, Esther, with her photograpy. The background of needing to sell a home can vary, our need was very 'divergent'. We had a tricky tenant, and a redundant rental manager... we were hours away from the house we were needing to sell. Patrick stepped in like this was normal. From start to finish, Patrick and Son acted with finesse. Professionalism is autonomous to these men, but the compassion and care, was something we did not expect and greatly received. EVERYTHING, and I mean everything, was completed on line or over the phone. This in itself, is a testament to Patrick and Son. The financial outcome was above and beyond any appraisal and any feedback received during the process. This is due to the way Patrick and Son staged the property, maintained the property personally and then how they presented themselves and the property during Open Homes and private inspections. Being out of town, we had to rely on Patrick to organise everything for us. We weren’t disappointed. He worked very well with our tenants to make sure they were comfortable with the process. He organised tradespeople for small jobs that needed doing to make sure our property was presented in the best light. Reports were sent though regularly and we were kept in the loop with any updates. And ultimately we achieved the price we wanted at auction. We can’t thank Patrick enough and will definitely ask him to help us with any future sales of our properties.
