Due to the Covid-19 lockdown, my contact with David was by phone, email and texts. He was enthusiastic, knew his market, and always inspired confidence. When things were not quite going to plan, I always felt totally reassured by his phone calls. Communicating with different people in the team caused the occasional short-term confusion.

I can not recommend David Ding highly enough. He is just first class. We had a rental property on the North Shore which for some time we had been considering selling. We had made inquiries about a year previous and David's name came up as an excellent agent. Never the less, I had intended selling the property privately myself as I have previously done successfully on two occasions. However we were from out of town, Covid struck, the tenant was reluctant to vacate the property, and although the house was in good condition for its age and we had recently done up the bathroom, toilet and wash house, I could never the less foresee weeks of work ahead to finish renovating and complete works to Healthy homes standards. Because of Covid, and my lack of ability to do much from out of town, I contacted David with a view to tapping into his contractor contacts to do up the house once vacated and David selling it on our behalf. I was not keen on auctions or having open homes for the tenants sake while occupied. David however suggested that he knew potential buyers that would actually prefer the tenant in place on a hold and land bank basis, and there would be no need for a public open home or auction. David has a very empathetic attitude and managed to get the tenant to allow an interested buyer through. David negotiated with that buyer on our behalf quite vigorously and not only exceeded the price that I was hoping for by a considerable margin, but achieved an unconditional sale with the property as-is and as the purchaser wanted vacant possession, a long notice period was negotiated to suit the tenant.
