Due to our timeframe, we watched the Tawa Real Estate scene for a few years before listing our property, especially so as the market cooled. We came to the market with a unique property when things were slowing down and properties were taking longer to sell. This meant it was a much longer process than either us or Tamsin had initially thought. Tamsin was great at keeping us informed of where the market was at, feedback from viewings and 'thinking outside the square' to come up with ideas to find prospective buyers. She gave us options but did not push us into anything. She dealt with prospective buyers in a considered way - following up regularly but without being pushy. She respected our situation and provided plenty of notice before viewings. Her communication was excellent - very prompt to get back to us if we had a query. She followed through with all aspects of the process, and kept up beat in situations when people who wanted to purchase couldn't make it work (with a difficult finance and rising interest rates market). She worked hard, with a calming and patient approach, during negotiation, thinking creatively about ways to reach agreement. Once a conditional offer had been reached she continued great communication with both purchaser and vendor - almost daily during the conditional phase, and continued to liaise and communicate throughout the process through to post settlement. Although Tamsin was acting for us as vendors, we were also purchasing at the same time and although we were not purchasing through her she was able to provide some information for us and help us through the process. If you want a calm, knowledgeable and respectful agent who 'tells it like it is' but also listens to what you want and keeps working at getting a sale then Tamsin is the one. Selling a house is stressful at the best of times, more so in the current market but the process is much smoother with Tamsin working with you.
