John and Vaughan made the whole experience, from an initial meeting to the settlement day, incredibly easy. They both have that wonderful knack of being friendly and very approachable while also being very professional. Vaughan and John both have a great depth of knowledge on the selling process and market trends. They arrived very well prepared for the initial meeting with information about themselves and Sothebys, the selling campaign and also valuable information on the current market in my area. I was impressed by the way Vaughan and John listened to me and we worked closely together in deciding to auction the house and in developing an effective marketing plan. I appreciated the advice given in preparing the house ready for sale and the personalised calendar setting out important dates was really helpful. The team kept me well informed both before and after private viewings and contacted me straight after each open home with numbers of visitors and a summary of comments made. The regular Thursday report gave me information on marketing success as well as visitor numbers , and we had face-to-face meetings most weeks. It was great to sit back and let John and Vaughan handle the marketing and selling my house. I had every confidence in what was going on because the communication was so good. The final stage was the auction itself. We met the day prior the auction and talked about the process and expected levels of interest- again I had a very clear idea of what would happen ‘on the day’ . Auction Day was remarkably relaxed. It started for me with a meeting with the auctioneer who explained how the auction would run and who was happy to answer any questions. Again, Vaughan and John were on hand to inform and support.
