First Home buyers let down.
As first-home buyers, settlement day was a major milestone for us, so we were highly unimpressed that there was no proper handover, sold sticker, or photo to mark the occasion. Instead, we were simply sent a code to access the front door, while the remaining keys, warranties, and manuals were left in a drawer. We did receive a small gift from Ray White more than a month after settlement, which was appreciated. Communication throughout the process was generally fine, but the lack of any meaningful handover made the experience feel impersonal and took away from what should have been a very special milestone.
