Overall, our experience with Lin Ma was positive. She was professional, patient, and communicated clearly throughout the sales process. She provided many practical and useful suggestions regarding the refurbishment of the house and also assisted with inspections as we stay out of town. In addition, she helped look after the property both before and after the sale, and we are happy with the final outcome. There were, however, a few areas where the experience could have been improved: Lin was away on holiday for a couple of weeks shortly after the auction, but we were not aware of this in advance. After the property passed in at auction, we needed to negotiate with a group of potential buyers. As Lin was overseas and the time difference made communication more difficult, it was challenging for us at times, particularly as she had been handling the earlier discussions with the buyers. Fortunately, Logan was very supportive during this period and helped us through the negotiation process. The EQC Deed of Assignment was not transferred into our names prior to the sale, and we were unfamiliar with the requirement when it was raised by the buyers' solicitor. This resulted in a short delay before the contract could become unconditional. Logan kindly assisted by contacting the Natural Hazards Commission to help resolve the matter promptly. During the buyers' request for a price reduction, Lin advised that the offer was already a strong one given the current market conditions. We appreciated her perspective. Logan also proactively communicated further with the buyers' agent, and through those discussions the sale was ultimately completed without any reduction to the agreed price.
