Award-winning auctioneer and salesperson, Harsh Karthuria enjoys an unprecedented reputation as New Zealand’s only Indian auctioneer and in Australasia the youngest – a ground-breaking status that he’s proud to have attained. This skill is vital when assisting his clients selling their homes in an auction campaign. Working in partnership with highly-respected licensee salesperson Ash Kharche at Harcourts Papatoetoe, the two conduct a successful real estate practice offering a positive and powerful real estate service to homeowners and buyers across South Auckland. Harsh moved to New Zealand from India in 2012 and holds a Bachelor of IT Engineering and a post-graduate Diploma in IT. Harsh has a management background in the QSR industry and supply chain logistics for import/export.

Ash Kharche works in tandem within their highly successful and award-winning team with prominent auctioneer Harsh Kathuria. Ash has been involved in the property business since 2013 and been a licensed real estate salesperson since 2016 – most of those latter years with Harcourts. He and Harsh serve clients all across the Auckland region making a name for themselves as exceptional agents changing the face of real estate is marketing and sales. Originally from India, Ash speaks Hindi, Punjabi and English and comfortably relates to a diversity of cultures. With a degree in Hotel Management and a post- graduate Diploma in Hotel Administration and Management, Ash’s background has always involved people and service excellence. After a respected career as chef for a number of hotel chains he became Food & Beverage Manager for the Arvida Group and their multiple retirement villages nationwide. The experience with folk moving from their homes to a village piqued Ash’s interest in the privileged role of assisting people with a life changing move and he embraced the best career step of his life – real estate. Articulate, customer-focused and disciplined, Ash is always calm under pressure – perhaps a legacy of running high-stress hotel kitchens. Never pushy and as an experienced property investor south of the Bombay Hills, he is a credible expert who walks the walk. Ash has vast local knowledge making him a good negotiator who keeps his eye on the ball, always focused on a successful outcome for valued clients.
