Late last year, when I made the decision to put my Waimauku lifestyle property on the market, I interviewed three different agents from different real estate companies. Simon’s recommended marketing campaign identified and described the merits of our property and then put it in front of what he thought was our buyer market which attracted large numbers, approximately 90 in 4 weeks, of buyers to the open homes from all over Auckland. I had a pre-auction offer which Simon recommended I decline as he felt we could do better and to continue with the auction where he subsequently managed the competition between several buyers to obtain an excellent result well above the pre-auction offer.
