What's around 77 Islington Street

Heartland Ponsonby

Welcome home to those of you looking for the classic Ponsonby three bedroom villa, replete with character features. You will fall in love with this picture perfect home that has preserved the integrity of the archetypical Villa. However, recent additions ensure that it's perfect for the 2020's lifestyle. This includes a must have ensuite in the main bedroom and a large kitchen-dining area that bifolds back onto a large west facing deck which basks in the afternoon sun but can be sheltered with the remote controlled awning. This steps down into the most private green Titoki hedged oasis. Perfect for afternoon drinks, kids to play in or a barbecue. Mind you, this is the kind of street of days gone by when kids play on the road and with the neighbours. You will enjoy the security and safety of the neighbourhood. The kitchen has been beautifully modernised. This glistens modern and fresh against the wooden floor boards that many generations have enjoyed. The pressed steel ceilings are some of the best we've seen. Very dramatic, very cool and make quite the statement. The entrance way is pretty with a heart engraved balustrade and a morning deck to enjoy a cup of tea. You'll love the traditional solid doors and elegant grill. Simple green and white boxed hedges and white roses for on trend simplicity. Classical wide hallway with two double bedrooms on the right and one on the left and a living room, down to the kitchen and dining room that spans the width of the house. A further family bathroom and massive entertaining deck complete this delightful family home. Set in a great location, a stone's throw from the Tole Reserve for kids and pets to enjoy, close proximity to both Ponsonby and Jervois road and is very close to both Ponsonby primary and intermediate school. Our current owners have enjoyed living here for over a decade with two children. Call us now to view!

Fantastic experience

Tanya has a a lot of market experience and she had a lot of enthusiasm and positivity. She helped us stage our home beautifully and really fought hard to sell our house. She was professional and communicated regularly with us throughout the process.
