•As a first-home buyer, I found the level of communication and professionalism disappointing. I received little guidance on the deadline sale process or on completing the Sale and Purchase Agreement, and when my initial offer was submitted, Vanessa criticised how it was completed rather than offering constructive assistance. This required me to seek help from my buyer’s agent despite them not being formally involved. Communication throughout the negotiation and conditional stages was stressful and often unprofessional. I was repeatedly contacted by phone and text urging me to increase my offer, despite requesting email communication due to work commitments. Requests to receive counter-offers in writing were not respected. I was also pressured to satisfy conditions even while still within agreed timeframes, including receiving multiple urgent calls and messages that caused unnecessary distress. Support from management was inconsistent, and once the agreement went conditional, there was little to no assistance. Settlement and handover were handled with minimal care or courtesy, and important information regarding missing and broken keys was only disclosed after I had taken possession of the property. Overall, I found the communication lacked transparency and respect, and the professionalism fell well below what I would expect particularly for a first-home buyer navigating a complex and significant purchase.
