The best RE agent we have ever dealt with!

We have dealt with many agents in the past (over 10) when selling and purchasing properties in Australia and New Zealand. My wife and I both agree that Chris Harris (Professionals Lower Hutt) is the best agent we have ever dealt with by a country mile. Absolutely every nerve-racking stage of the process was expertly managed by Chris making the sale of our home very low stress and ultimately successful. After providing us with a conservative and genuine valuation of the property we managed to negotiate a fair fee that was very competitive in the current market. The fee was very reasonable but more importantly the service was very professional! He impressed us with his knowledge of the local area and also recommended a local staging service and a local solicitor- both of which we took on. The photos taken showcased our family home perfectly and the sale was live 3 days after meeting Chris. Since the house was vacant it required a fast sale. The advertising and open house results were communicated by Chris on a daily basis, and a formal feedback report provided helped to keep my anxieties low. After the first week I had to fly back to Australia leaving my wife to stay until tender closed. Due to the speedy deadline, Chris offered two open homes per week and encouraged all potential offers to complete their due diligence. The tender date arrived after only two and a half weeks of being advertised and we had several offers and ended up negotiating a great offer and secured the conditional sale by 7pm that same evening. Within 7 weeks of meeting Chris Harris the house settled and we couldn’t have been happier. $40k over our highest expectation and problem free. It truly was a dream process! Chris’s greatest attribute is his genuineness- a rare quality for a RE agent. He was always available and didn’t finish representing me until the money was in the bank. I could not recommend Chris more- you would be crazy not too use him!
