▶The house had been in the family since 1946. We had great memories from when it belonged to our grandparents. Well maintained and a gorgeous garden full of beautiful roses, vegetables and berries which we would sneakily pick. Our uncle lived in the house up until he went into hospital and then into rest home care. As he aged our uncle had let the house run down, he stopped maintaining it and let's just say it will be a very big reno job for the new owners. Meg met with us and, after viewing the house, advised us that we should put it up for auction - as is - where is. She talked us through her marketing strategy - and set the wheels in motion. She worked her contacts and got people through the door at open homes. Property developers, flippers and people wanting a reno project were all targeted and Meg created considerable interest in a property we thought nobody would be interested in. Meg got a pre- auction offer for the house which meant we went to an early auction in just two weeks on the market. Meg and her team contacted all the people that had expressed an interest and the auction room was full on the day with more bidders than we had ever envisaged - eventually realising more than we had thought possible for the house. Meg was with us all the way through the process. She gave us excellent advice and more than delivered for us.
