About Anita

Anita comes to us with a background in customer service, administration and business partner management roles and is passionate about building lasting relationships with her clients. Although property management is a new path for Anita, she has been both a tenant and a landlord in the past and believes that good clear lines of communication is key. She strives to ensure that all parties feel heard and supported. While not working Anita enjoys spending time at the bach and in the great outdoors, catching up with family and friends and although no longer involved in the local Variety Théâtre, she still has a very keen interest in music.

McLeod Real Estate is a locally owned real estate business with a deep connection to Mid Canterbury property. The McLeod name has been to the forefront of the business of real estate in Mid Canterbury for nearly half a century. Company owner Clark McLeod is a son of Colin McLeod a co-founder of a previously well-known real estate company which in part carried the McLeod name. At McLeod’s we embrace our local ownership, where local decisions are made and the brand strength is our local people. A team of quality real estate agents are moving this company into a significant force within the Mid Canterbury real estate market. Clark McLeod was born into a real estate family and has early childhood memories of his late father Colin McLeod and the sales team heading off to Saturday morning auctions. These were followed by a morning radio update on those sales and the market generally. While radio reports and auctions were long before the days of mobile phones and the internet, the core values in real estate have not changed and real estate principles are the same today. Clark and wife Susie aim to breathe new life into the family dynasty started over 50 years ago by the late Colin. “Colin McLeod was a market leader changing the way real estate was carried out in the district.” Clark and Susie are committed to uphold the trust and quality of service in real estate, synonymous with the McLeod name.

Great attention to detail

Anita is a fantastic property manager, and we’ve been really happy with the service she provides. She has excellent attention to detail and always keeps us well informed about the overall condition of our property, including any maintenance issues that aren’t necessarily related to the tenants. This gives us plenty of time to get things sorted before they have the chance to become bigger or more costly problems. She is also an excellent communicator and always keeps us up to date with any changes relating to the tenancy. When it comes to finding new tenants, she makes the whole process easy and keeps us informed every step of the way. We really appreciate Anita’s friendly, proactive approach and the care she takes in looking after our property. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a great property manager.
