Mate for life

I worked with Laurie several years ago in Auckland and a good bugger then but I hadn't seen him for 2-3 years since he moved to the Bay. I didn't know he was a real estate agent but he’s always been knowledgeable about property and also very relatable. When my wife and I decided to sell our rental properly I saw his profile and it was a no brainer. I didn’t bother shopping around for agents to try and get the best deal, just emailed and hit him up as the trust was already there. Although being very busy and the property not in his area Laurie still took it on. He engaged a couple of colleagues including another dear friend of mine Toni Cunningham, who were happy to help offer up some local knowledge of what the market was doing so a team player and not shy to reach out to get maximum coverage. Gave some good advice regarding presentation, put me on to Vivienne to stage the house and it certainly made a huge difference. Selling and buying can be very stressful as most people know but he made the process pretty seamless. Kept in contact most days for any updates, up front with purchaser’s opinions and eventually secured the sale for us within 2 weeks. Hey, it would’ve been nice to get more but the market spoke and Laurie not only made myself and the wife happy but the buyers aswell. If I had to sell again, or buy for that matter I wouldn’t hesitate to give Laurie another call. Laurie when I knew you years back you never had the slick haircut but it suits you 💯 %. You’re honest, polite, trustworthy and just a general all rounder so thanks heaps buddy, Annabelle and I are honoured to call you a mate. Catch you at the Foo Fighters concert in a couple weeks.
