From the very beginning of inquiring to list our property, we were treated with the utmost respect. With the market sluggish and our property suitable for a narrow range of buyers, it was necessary to have a good strategy in place, as well as a realistic timeframe to sell. Ann’s plan was twofold: • Auction after a three-week advertising campaign, combined with three open homes. • If not sold at auction, follow-up with interested parties requiring to sell themselves, along with advertising with a price that meets the market. We were impressed with the weekly reports and visits after each open home. The report highlighted the number of people visiting, their comments and views of the house, as well as commentary on the price range they thought was appropriate. Though the property did not sell at auction, it gave us a clear indication of the price range for the second strategy, which was to advertise with a set price and open homes. This had an immediate effect, as a purchaser was found with the first advertisement and open home. Throughout this period, Ann was very professional and her vast experience was evident. If we had not pursued an auction strategy, we would have had Ann trying to find a purchaser at a price well above market expectations. We have no hesitation in recommending Ann to anyone wishing to list their property.
