After being notified that my tenants had given notice, I reached out to Caroline Yau & Steve Williams, who I purchased this property through in 2017. They then prepared an honest appraisal & marketing plan for my consideration, including advising on what needed to be done to have the property “market ready”. My property had not faired very well during the tenancy period. Steve then set about getting quotes from Painters, Roofers, Pool companies etc. After my approval of the approach to be taken, Steve project managed the entire preparation, while keeping me fully briefed on progress. This was a huge undertaking by Steve. Once all work was completed, Caroline & Steve advised that I use a high-end Staging Company to show the home off to its best potential. They showed me several large Remuera & Epsom homes that had been staged by “The Homestagers”. I am very pleased I trusted their advice, as they managed to get my property SOLD in 6-weeks, no mean feat on the current market & given that the property is a re-clad plaster home, that presented its own unique challenges. In particular, as an overseas owner, having Caroline & Steve taking care of my property gave me complete confidence that no stone was left unturned in an effort to get my property SOLD. Their reporting was almost daily, either by email, WhatsApp, WeChat or phone calls. At every step of the way I knew what was happening on the ground with my property. Steve even did some of the landscaping for me to ensure that the final presentation was spot-on. Caroline & Steve’s slogan “The DIFFERENCE is in the DETAIL” is very accurate.
