His daily involvement in farm life provided a practical, lived understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by farmers and rural landowners. After leasing for many years, Pete and his wife Sally purchased their first farm, "Te Rangiura" 32 years ago, and since then have significantly developed and added to the property alongside a full-time career in rural real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (soils and valuation) and a Diploma in Real Estate, with this combination of qualifications and experience underpinning a strong understanding of the operational, environmental and financial drivers of rural land value.
