Seller's review

We received prompt response to our request and process was smooth from initial contact,

We had lived in our property since 1989 and had no recent experience in selling a property. The process nowadays is more complex than it was when we last sold a property of our own. Wendy Knight responded to our request to help us sell our Hamilton property and from our first meeting with her she encouraged us to face the current market conditions. She also encouraged us to prepare our property to present the best appearance to viewers without going to extremes. The photographs which subsequently were supplied to support the advertisements were well received by all family and friends who we encouraged to view them. We were also pleased that prospective buyers were attracted to come to the Open Home days. Wendy allowed us to clearly state our views on the various steps along the way. For our part we tried to ensure that we did not appear on the property when people arranged to view it. We also asked Wendy to close the period for offers if she believed that there was significant interest to allow the matter to be brought to a sooner conclusion. She complied with this request with the end result that the sale was concluded a fortnight sooner than originally planned. The purchase price was at the mid point of the original range of prices suggested at the time of her presentation of the first assessment. We are pleased with the outcome and the shortness of the period taken to obtain a satisfactory sale.
