Riz Ali failed us completely-absent, unhelpful, and worked against our interests throughout.

My experience with Riz Ali was extremely disappointing and raised serious concerns about his professionalism, loyalty, and work ethic. Riz was brought into the sale of my family home during a separation, and he was expected to act on behalf of me and my parents. Instead, his behaviour throughout the process showed a complete lack of commitment and integrity. Despite being appointed as our agent, Riz was never present at any of the open homes. He did not share the workload, did not contribute meaningfully to the marketing or sale process, and left all the actual work to other agents. His absence was consistent and noticeable, and it became clear that he was simply positioning himself to collect a commission without doing the job he was entrusted with. What was even more concerning was his shift in alignment. Rather than representing our interests — the very reason he was engaged — he began acting in ways that clearly favoured the opposing party. His behaviour and interactions made it obvious that he was no longer advocating for us, leaving me and my parents in a vulnerable and unsupported position during an already stressful time. Throughout the entire process, Riz failed to communicate, failed to provide updates, and failed to act with the professionalism expected from someone in his role. His lack of involvement and his decision to work against the very clients he was meant to represent caused unnecessary stress and confusion. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Riz Ali to anyone. His conduct showed a lack of loyalty, a lack of effort, and a lack of integrity. If you are looking for an agent who will genuinely work for you, communicate clearly, and act in your best interests, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
