Good sales outcome, but limited support at settlement stage

Overall, I appreciate Alex Wu’s efforts in successfully marketing and selling my property at a good price. The sales process leading up to the agreement was handled professionally, and I am satisfied with the outcome achieved on that front. However, my experience during the settlement stage was less positive. On settlement day, the buyer raised several issues regarding cleaning, minor wall marks, and items not being fully cleared, and requested compensation of over $4,000. At that point, I expected more active support in managing communication and helping to resolve the matter in a structured and professional way. Instead, I was advised that the agent could not be involved as the buyer did not wish to communicate directly with him, leaving me to deal with the situation independently during a very stressful time. While I understand that settlement issues can sometimes arise outside of the agent’s control, I felt that the level of support during this final stage of the process could have been stronger.
