Overview

Self-Contained First Farm Opportunity

Set across 198.9030 hectares (more or less), this well-established self-contained dairy farm offers a rare first farm opportunity. The property features three homes, a 30 ASHB dairy shed with ACRs, in-shed feed system, five-bay calf shed, workshop, and PKE bunker. Fencing is a mix of post and batten, electric, and deer fencing, reflecting the farm’s diverse history. The contour is varied, with approximately 62 hectares flat/rolling, 42 hectares medium to steep, and 69 hectares steep. Around 90 paddocks have been consolidated for efficiency, with 170 hectares effective and 120 hectares forming the dairy platform. Water is supplied via the Huirimu scheme. Currently operating on once-a-day milking, the farm wintered 250 cows and 80 MT winter milkers in 2024/25, with 50 R2s. Production reached 87,158kg MS (2024/25) and 90,489kg MS (2023/24). There are three dwellings - 2 x three bedroom and 1 x two bedroom cottage. 400 silage bales made on farm. Extensive cropping regime includes turnips, Italian rye grass, and rape, with 58 hectares regrassed over the past five years. With 200 cows available for sale and a calving date of 12 July, this is a turnkey operation ready for its next chapter.
