Overview

Home & Cottage with Stunning Lake Views!

Here’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a sought-after rural lifestyle while generating extra income, accommodating extended family, just minutes from the city. Set on an elevated 8,000m² site with panoramic lake and rural views, this beautifully presented Lockwood home offers three bedrooms, two bathrooms (including master with ensuite), openplan kitchen/dining, and a sunny deck, the ideal spot for your morning coffee. The mezzanine floor provides extra space for a studio, craft room, or home office, and there’s a cosy wood fire plus heat pump for year-round comfort. Adding to the appeal is a self-contained one-bedroom apartment, perfect for guests, family, or short/long-term rental income. Outdoors, the land is divided into five well-fenced paddocks with bore water, ready for animals. The established gardens are a delight, complete with a generous glasshouse, and a variety of fruit trees. Think fresh produce from your own land, milk from the cow, eggs from the hens, and fruit straight off the tree. Just 15 minutes from the city and only minutes from Ngongotaha Village, this property is a rare combination of lifestyle, location, and income potential.
